Perspectives through Prose, Poetry and Photography
Mist entrapping skyscraped shards of glass,
O’er-wraps the city, blanketing as grass.
Reminds one of iconic cat’s paw creeping,
Nature’s nudging, wakens our deep sleeping.
It drapes serene, in silence and in wonder,
No rays of sun this morn, yet still I ponder,
Gentle greeting of this glorious day.
Photo Friday: #Morning
I do love the sense of nature in the form of mist live in symbiosis with those skyscrapers.

Hi Joanne,
Love all your pictures, poetry and prose. I didn’t recognize all of the buildings in this photo. If I had to guess, I would say you took this picture from World Trade looking northwest?
Best regards,
Lud

Hi, Lud! No, I confess that I took it this morning from the John Elliot’s (weatherman) camera on CBS. I was startled at how beautiful the city looks this way on a morning like this…even more lovely than sunlight reflecting off the sides of the glass and steel buildings (soon to be outlawed by DiBlasio). I was amazed at the picture quality and couldn’t resist posting it. So really, it’s a photo of a live shot. Always nice to hear from you. J
