Perspectives through Prose, Poetry and Photography
Watercolor wisps paint each new dawn,
So t’was in the beginning, nascent time,
Untrodden shores, calm seas, the slate is clean.
Silently bear witness to sublime
creation, God’s divinity displayed
Watercolor wisps paint each new dawn.
It once was thus, before the taint of crimes,
abused of precious gifts before us laid,
Untrodden shores, calm seas, the slate is clean.
Peace (before we knew of warring times),
Innocence (the price of sins unpaid),
Watercolor wisps paint each new dawn.
Lapping waters whisper of the crimes
of generations’ past, a trust betrayed,
Untrodden shores, calm seas, the slate is clean.
And though it’s been through best and worst of times,
The grasp of hope is ours to mend those ways,
Watercolor wisps paint each new dawn,
Untrodden shores, calm seas, the slate is clean.
