Looks like the start of a big bike race! I’ve been thinking about getting a bike too – thanks for the reminder. Great photo

And here in the northeast, it’s a great time of year for getting out and around town a bike. My advice…go for it! The latest design makes it a better choice for us (recent retires) as one can stop easily with feet easily touching the pavement( they call it ‘flat feet’). Being high up on a racing bike isn’t for me. These bikes (Model:”Townie”) are relatively new, with offset pedals, instead of typical pedals directly below the seat. We are enjoying them!

Yes. It made me happy just looking at them. And with the newer design feature (flat foot, which with offset pedals, enables one go have feet on the ground) riding makes me even happier.

Yes…I felt like a kid on a candy shop as my husband and I selected our new bikes (Jay’s Cycle Shop, Westfield, NJ). They are 47th anniversary presents to each other. I selected the “polar blue”, though purple was a close second!
