Perspectives through Prose, Poetry and Photography

The barn at Maplestone epitomizes a country farm in Fall. We are staying here at the charming Maplestone B & B, just outside of New Paltz, NY. Our room is on the first floor, complete with a wrap around porch facing this romantic barn. Our day ended, as we sat in Adirondack chairs in the dark, listening to night sounds and sipping the last few drops of PlumpJack Syrah. I can’t wait to have morning coffee overlooking this spectacular vista.

I’m really enjoying the theme/design of your site. Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility issues? A number of my blog audience have complained about my website not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Safari. Do you have any solutions to help fix this issue?

I have not run into this problem, so I don’t have any insights to share. Thank you for your comment.

Oh my gosh! That is simply beautiful! I want to pack my bags immediately and find that place and stay there forever! I saved the picture just so I could go back and put it on my rotating desktop slideshow. Now THAT is a lovely autumn!

Thanks, Theresa. And the owners, a lovely couple, delivered fresh coffee this morning in a big basket. Bathrobes and steaming coffee on our own little porch…it is lovely, complete with sound effects (chirping crickets and happy birds). It’s our first time here, but we will definitely be returning.
