Perspectives through Prose, Poetry and Photography
Stench invades our senses,
Macerating mucous membranes,
Rodents release their refuse
into once crystal clear waters,
producing putrid pools;
Disease incubators
disseminating deadly, dire
moldy maladies.
No safe harbor!
No respite!

What can one say after that? Sorry for Sandy and that a cartoon zombie reminded you of that. Needless to say, your post is extremely well-written and stated.

Ah, that’s an interesting take on the prompt. I’m reading a book about the Katrina aftermath. I think you may have nailed it.

Thank you. I’d be interested to read that book. New Jersey is still recovering in some areas.
