Perspectives through Prose, Poetry and Photography
Today,
we hide from
the dis-believers
below.
Tomorrow,
our paths severed,
“we” will not
exist.
Someday,
I will return
to this secret, solemn
site.
That day,
tresses falling freely,
tears will fall
silently.
You portrayed the sadness well. I really like the last stanza – she may have freedom, but her heart won’t know that.

“Someday…” Optimism and sadness all at once. I love it.

Yes we all endure personal sadnesses but we learn and grow and alway, with optimism that the sun also rises. Thanks.

Thank you. It was a lovely, and in many ways, haunting picture to work with.

As there seemed to be (to me) in this photo. We are fortunate to be who we are, where we are. Thanks, Draugh!
