This reminds me of something I see every yr at the Cape & haven’t figured out how to capture with watercolor. I know nothing about photography: may I ask does the light fall in this way naturally– is it daytime sunlight, & dark at back due to thick overlay of grass above?
Ginny! So happy to hear from you again. I took this before sunrise on a beach at the Polynesian Village in Disneyworld. I strolled around taking shots of the beachside flora and fauna, using only natural light. I used the Macro setting, which, when you focus on the subject, creates lovely depth-of-filed variations. This would be a lovely watercolor! I’m glad you like it…see you soon.
