Homeward Bound

Time to satisfy the beast within.
Boardwalk planks remind me; I’m shoeless!
Thrust into this moment, I pause,
Gasping, I see only beauty ahead:
Symmetry!
Simplicity!
Serenity!
I’m homeward bound.

    • This is one of my favorites, taken at the waterfront in Charleston. I didn’t even have my camera, so I used my iPad! The boardwalk extends out into the harbor and is a great walk on a warm sunny day (remember those?). Something about this picture is so calming wih the repeating shadows, geometric shapes and contrasting textures. Thanks, Ei..Love you.
