Reaching tree-clumps; razor-sharp teeth
gathering meals at dusk.

revealing her true age.

  1. Love the grace of the giraffe.
But did I ever tell you of the time I was standing in the giraffe house under a steady rain at Whipsnade, watching the giraffe clean her nostril with her tongue?

  2. Awkward creature of grace is such a unique description. Giraffes are beautiful animals (though their long, slimy tongues made me squeamish when we fed them at the zoo!)
