Antipasto on deck, as dinner bell chimes

Momentary pause

Focus fades and sharpens anew

Beyond glass-top-table culinary creativity

The reflection IS the message

Morning-after blue-sky brilliance

Leafless tree treasures stand tall, as if in defiance
