  Thanks, Draugh. It’s ironic that my imagined subjects are seeking freedom, while surrounded by several forms of transportation, i.e. busses and subways, but I couldn’t squeeze that thought into the poem.

Creatively written and presented. I also think yours is the first to mention the vent/drain which I wish I had incorporated too. Silent screams – powerful image.
