Whispering Pines (Photo Friday: Solitude)
“When people look at my pictures I want them to feel the way they do when they want to read a line of a poem twice.”
― Robert Frank
"A film is never really good unless the camera is an eye in the head of a poet."
- Orson Welles
On this canvas, I attempt to express through prose, poetry and photography, the yearnings of my soul. When I come up short - when words can't suffice, when the view through my camera lens leaves me humbled, in awe, and needing to say more - I turn to music:
"Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent."
